By 2025, the Internet of Things (IoT) connections will reach 100 billion and have more than $11 trillion impact on world economies. The Asia Pacific region captured around 58.3% of the IoT revenue in 2014. IoT has an incredibly wide range of applications such as agriculture, environmental monitoring, e-health, intelligent transportation systems, military, and industrial plant monitoring. In the framework of FIRST Talent project, the Key Laboratory for Smart Integrated Systems (SISLAB) at VNU University of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with Davis Millimeter Wave Research Center (DMRC) at UC Davis and School of Electrical and Data Engineering at University of Technology Sydney organize the 2018 FIRST Workshop on IoT Devices: from chip design to applications (FIRST IOTA). The event will open a great opportunity to the community to discuss and exchange the knowledges and experiences in developing IoT devices and applications.
A group of two students from VNU Key Laboratory for Smart Integrated Systems (SISLAB) have been selected to participate the 2018 IEEE SEACAS Hackathon at The Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITENAS) Campus, n Bangdung, Indonesia.
The IEEE SEACAS Hackathon will be held in 3 days from December 23 to December 26, 2018.
